AKG Trumset Session
Allmänt
Drum kits can be difficult to amplify - not just because there are multiple drums involved, but also because of the dynamics. Ordinary microphones are usually not up to the task, which is why AKG have developed a special set of drum microphones: the Drum Set Session. This set consists of seven mics that are all designed for a specific part of the drum kit to ensure high-quality, amplified sound.
The AKG Drum Set Session: Overview
Drum mics need to feature a fast transient response, otherwise a part of the attack is always shaved off the end signal. These AKG mics have an excellent response to fast attack and includes a P2 microphone for the kick, four P4 microphones to take care of the toms and snare (and come with a rim clip) and two P17 overheads (also with a clip) that are technically identical to the P-170.
Applications
Of course, the microphones are primarily designed to mic up kits, but the P2 can also be used for other instruments like single floor toms, bass amps or low-frequency brass instruments. The P4 can be used for percussion, brass instruments and guitar amps while the P17 is the most versatile of the lot since this stereo pair of condensers can take on entire orchestras and choirs, as well as acoustic guitars and pianos. The whole set comes in a solid case with moulded foam interior.

Voor de prijs is dit een zeer goed setje. De klemmen moet je even aan wennen maar doet wat het moet doen.
De microfoons klinken erg goed voor het geld dat ik ervoor gegeven heb. Vooral de tom-mics klinken erg goed. De klemmen zijn wat minder in mijn beleving en gaan wat moeilijk om de rims van m'n toms en snare. Verder een uitstekend product.
Zeer tevreden over deze mic set, voor de prijsklasse een geweldige set.
Enigste nadeel zijn de wat "zwakkere" klemmen, deze zouden wat beter uitgevoerd kunnen worden.
Als een drummer heel hard slaat bij een drumstel wat veel beweegd willen de klemmen weleens verschuiven.
Maar ik denk dat er in deze prijsklasse geen andere set is te krijgen die zoveel waar is voor je geld!
Misschien dat ik er nog een tweede bij aanschaf.

Confezione molto bella, curata e mediamente robusta. Overhead usati per riprese ravvicinate dei piatti con altri microfoni in distanza per la panoramica. In caso necessitiate di microfoni economici, con questi avrete il massimo possibile.
nog in de testfase, maar zo na een keer geprobeerd te hebben, zeer degelijke set.
prima mics, allemaal degelijk uitgevoerd en prima geluid, zoals je van AKG gewent bent.
De klemmen voor de overheads zijn prima, die voor de toms (en snare) in 1 woord RUK....!!
Bij een beetje brede rim breekt het spul af.....jammer....
Gelukkig koop je deze set voor de microfoons en niet voor de klemmen......
Verder goede waar voor je geld.

Nog niet in een livesessie gebruikt, maar ziet er prima uit. Mooi koffertje, dat de klemmen wat minder zijn neem ik even voor lief. eventueel zijn er genoeg 3D-printmodellen online te vinden.
